Just curious if anyone has ordered from this website before. This site seems to have far better pricing than anywhere else I have seen but I worry it is too good to be true. I am going to ask my local tire shop if they can come close to the price I found online. Then I would rather just pay them but otherwise I will order them online and ship them over there to be installed.
I am definitely set on doing the Nokian WRG4 as the next tire choice for my STi. Yeah these will not give my canyon carving fun like my current 200TW Falkens but at least they will last a serious amount of miles and allow me to avoid chain restrictions for ski trips without melting in the heat . Eventually I will pick up another set of wheels to run another set of 200TW summer tires on but that might take a bit of time to afford. I should probably paint the Miata, pay off student loans, and/or do more track days instead of buying more wheels lol.
Keep in mind that I definitely cannot do a true winter tire because I will 100% melt the damn things. And that would also require me to buy two sets of tires and more wheels immediately since my current tires are donezo after my trip back from Utah. So the Nokian is my number one choice, just have to figure out where to get it from and order shortly.

Nothing seems to be
inherently wrong with tires-easy, though
I haven’t ordered anything from them
They do have en eBay store where they appear to have a presence, and the Nokian tires you want seem to be the same price.

One of the many tentacles of Delticom, a massive German Tyre supplier. I’ve used their UK local site for some winter tyres and wheels with no problems. Probably the kind of place with minimal customer support if anything goes wrong though.

They do have an eBay presence, and in fact, they even have a listing for the same set of tires the OP wants for the same price.
So if you have any reservations about the site itself, you can always buy them from their eBay store, which may give you some additional prote
ctions.

Sweet, seems like its just some oddities of being a European website rather than being super scammy as it appears.

I generally find ebay to be sketchier haha. But yeah that is definitely a good sign.

Yes, I’ve certainly noticed German sites have their own feel.

Ordered tires for the Alto Works from them previously. Only place I could find the 13" tires it needed.

I ordered a set of Vercelli Stradas from Tires-easy for my wife’s GLC back in march. They were about $107 a piece shipped. No regrets, although I found a local tire shop that will give me pretty much the same price on them, so I may do that next time. A friend I work with ordered from there too, no problem at all.

Did you end up ordering these? The WRG4 from tires-easy (on Ebay) is one of my front-runners for my STI as well.

I am most likely going to order them from Ebay. I just have to figure out when I will be home from my work trip so that these dont arrive before I get home. So I am just waiting to order to get confirmation of my return date. Hoping I dont cord one of my tires in the meantime nor run into any rain. Only like 1000 miles to go until I make it home. I have never run a set of tires this low on tread, but I guess 200TW will never look that deep to begin with.
